The technology markets are emerging with the passage of time and the entrepreneurs are finding it hard to fill the gap created by the massive inflow of technology jobs. Discussing the issue of hiring problems in the tech markets, Keep Holdings CEO, Scott Kurnit, said in a program at Bloomberg that there are educational issues, immigration issues and leadership issues. Kurnit also says that the technology experts are needed in every domain, but the incursion in this domain is not enough to satisfy the ever growing thirst of the enterprise. He said that America has companies like Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) but still, there is not much emerging talent in tech to fill the gaps in the industry.

“The difficulty is that there are too few people, and a great demand, so my assumption that each of our engineers is getting two to three job offers a week, we actually operate on that basis, so we have to be great all the time as a company,” said Kurnit.

Kurnit also said that pay is not that much important for the best engineers in the market, the main thing is the perks, benefits, stability and the learning. He said that his company has started a new Hackathon every Friday, during which the engineers work on anything they love. In this way, the companies can get the competitive environment with fun and can polish the new ideas.

Companies like Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) have fully dedicated recruitment hubs which are continuously looking for fresh talent.

Kurnit added that working hard during the recruitment phase is the key. He said that his company pays $10,000 to any employee who recruits any useful resource. Kurnit said that the companies need to adapt out of the box methods in modern day recruitment.

“You do the things that are little more special than your competitors, but first and foremost I think it comes to treating people with amazing respect, have a bottoms up culture where you set the vision but you then say here’s where we wanna go, where can you take us,” said Kurnit.

Commenting on the argument of Revolution chairman and CEO, Steve Case, which touts that companies should move to other places instead of New York to cease the market, Kurnit said that as his company is from Fashion domain,New York is the best place for this because it’s the hub of technology and business. Giants like Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA), Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) must collaborate with each other in recruitment programs to get the best out of the industry.

Kurnit mentioned that there is a need for “reeducation” of the talent and we need people who can learn coding and new things even after graduating from college.
