A program on CNBC said that Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is launching a whole new lot of apps and features to garner a massive user base within months. It has also, finally, killed the sloppy Internet Explorer, though the ‘E’ icon is still there.

But Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s mobile problem could not be solved by just letting the developers to port Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)’s Android or iOS apps to the Windows platform. The secret to mobile success lies in innovation. There is a great need for great, innovative and highly productive apps exclusively for the Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s Windows mobile phone to get the users’ attention in the start. No one would migrate from Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)’s Android just to use the same apps on Windows Platform. This is where ecosystem comes in. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) has an advanced grasp on the mobile OS. It is going to take a while for Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) to reach the level of innovation, robustness and ease of use offered by Android.
