Sealed Air Corp (NYSE:SEE) tops the list of Lomas Capital Management’s best three equity picks. The fund held 1.1 million shares in the food safety company at the end of the third quarter of 2014. The position in Sealed Air Corp (NYSE:SEE) remained unchanged from the previous filing but the value edged up to about $39 million.

Sealed Air Corp (NYSE:SEE) has witnessed a few insider activities this year. The company’s Director, P Kenneth Manning, acquired 10,000 shares in the company this week. However, Z. Emile Chammas, SVP, is the only insider seller in the company so far this year. Chammas sold 20,000 shares.

Lomas Capital Management had Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (NYSE:LPX) as its second-best equity pick in the third quarter of 2014. The list of Lomas Capital Management’s top three best stocks is closed by Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:GILD). Lomas Capital Management reduced its exposure to the stock of Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:GILD) in the third quarter of 2014. As such, it owned 237,940 shares in the drug company in the latest filing. However, the previous filing revealed ownership of 246,490 shares in the company. The new position is valued at more than $25 million.

Tiger Management, by Julian Robertson, increased its exposure to the stock of Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:GILD) in the second quarter of 2014. The fund owned 443,911 shares in the company at the end of the quarter, making it one of its significant equity stakes.
