AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has recently decided to offer Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)‘s new Smartphone Fire Phone at ‘$0 down.’ While the offer on the carrier’s website is marked as a limited one and involves signing a two-year contract, it also includes a year of Amazon Prime subscription. It’s hard to say if AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) decided to use Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)’s new phone to attract more clients, or if this offer shows that the sales of the new device aren’t so good.

Even though the masses were excited before Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) unveiled its smartphone and some of the buzz went on after the release, the excitement disappeared apparently, with many experts considering that the device is too expensive and even though it has a lot of interesting features, it also has many issues that have to be addressed. As we reported earlier, some estimations show that since the release, Amazon could’ve sold around 35,000 devices.
