GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) went public in June and within a month, their share value doubled, while many analysts started questioning the valuation of the GoPro Shares. Their business model was also mainly focused on the high-speed action cameras. In a latest venture, they launched an accessory, which helps in mounting the cameras on pets. They named this accessory as ‘Fetch’. Squawk Alley team discuss about the GoPro’s new product in CNBC.

The new accessory, ‘Fetch’ would enable a person to look at places through his/her Dog’s eye view. GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) is planning to sell this accessory for $59.99 per item. This accessory allows the two possible mount locations on pets. First mounting location is on back of the pet and the second location is at the chest. This accessory turned out to be a huge hit and has already went out of stock. Coincidentally, this accessory was launched on the national dog day, which further pushed up the initial sales of this accessory.

“They say its for your pet, but lets face it, its for dog,” Jon Fortt said about the new accessory.

Fortt also mentioned that GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) has similar accessory for kids, which allows the user to mount the camera on kids’ chest.

This kind of accessory might turn out to be a huge business, since the police might start using these kinds of cameras and accessories on dogs, which will ease the tracing. Kayla Taushe pointed out that this might be used as a surveillance tool as well.
