The fund owned 288,400 shares in the $1.5 billion producer of coke, which is used in steelmaking, in the latest filing. It boosted its position slightly in the company given that it held 243,400 shares in the last filing. The new equity position is valued at nearly $6.5 million.

Closing the list of the best three stocks in the portfolio of GeoSphere Capital Management is Westmoreland Coal Company (NASDAQ:WLB). The fund own 101,207 shares in the $646 million energy company at the end of the third quarter of 2014. That compared with 46,500 shares held at the end of the second quarter of 2014. GeoSphere Capital Management increased its exposure to Westmoreland Coal Company (NASDAQ:WLB) in the latest report. The new position is valued at about $3.8 million.

Tontine Asset Management, led by Jeffrey Gendell, is another heavyweight institutional investor in Westmoreland Coal Company (NASDAQ:WLB). The fund owned 780,758 shares in the company and the end of the second quarter of 2014.
