What are the countries that produce the most robots in the world?

Robots are the future but have you ever thought about what are the countries that produce the most robots in the world? With the rise and rise of technology, it’s only natural that we’re going to see more and more jobs going to robots, especially in those situations where precision is needed and where machines can work faster than humans.

Believe it or not, Canada is one of the countries that produce the most robots in the world. 2015, not only did Canada manage to put loads of robots in its own factory, but it also exported quite a few of them, with the total sum rising to $61.2 million, equal to 1.5% of the total industrial robots exports. South Korea is also on the list. One proof of this is the fact that the country’s massive investments in the domain have led to exports in total worth of $235.6 million in 2015, which is about 5.7% out of the total industrial robots exports. The history of robots is fascinating. The idea of automata originates in the mythologies of many cultures around the world. Engineers and inventors from ancient civilizations, including Ancient China, Ancient Greece, and Ptolemaic Egypt attempted to build self-operating machines, some resembling animals and humans. In the old Greece, the Greek engineer Ctesibius applied a knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics to produce the first organ and water clocks with moving figures. The beginning of automata is associated with the invention of new Su Song’s astronomical clock tower featured mechanical figurines that chimed the hours. In Renaissance Italy, Leonardo da Vinci sketched plans for a humanoid robot around 1495. Da Vinci’s notebooks, rediscovered in the 1950s, contained detailed drawings of a mechanical knight now known as Leonardo’s robot, able to sit up, wave its arms and move its head and jaw. While most robots today are installed in factories or homes, performing labor or life-saving jobs, many new types of the robot are being developed in laboratories around the world. Much of the research in robotics focuses not on specific industrial tasks, but on investigations into new types of robot.
