Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) has disclosed in a press release on Tuesday that it has completed the acquisition of Flurry, a company  that operates a platform for mobile analytics, monetization and advertising. As Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) stated, the deal will help both companies to provide more insightful analytics and more relevant ads. Being a part of Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO), Flurry will be able to benefit from resources that will help it to speed up the development of platforms that will help app developers, publishers and advertisers to succeed in the mobile segment.

As Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) said in an earlier press release, Flurry Analytics have around 170,000 developers using its platforms and Flurry oversees app activity from over 1.0 billion devices every month and 5.5 billion app sessions daily. In addition Flurry helps with monetization of around 8,000 publishers and collaborates with mobile developers in 150 countries.

The value and other terms of the deal have not been disclosed, although, Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) suggested that Flurry’s team will remain located in San Francisco.
