With the success of its Nexus smartphone line, the company is now looking for partners to developer a perfect hardware of the upcoming refresh in the Nexus line, which is hailed as the best Vanilla device for Android. Android market is dominating the world’s mobile space for years. Around 85% of the smartphones in the world are powered by Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)’s Android. But the search engine giant is not happy that it has to rely on other companies—-sometimes its potential competitors—- to develop the hardware. The recent Nexus devices were developed by HTC, but we saw how HTC and LG launched the similar or better hardware and software by copying a lot of features from Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) devices.

An article on Fool said that Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is now frantically searching for its partners for hardware of next Nexus. It is in talks with LG and Chinese giant Huawei.

The source said that it is not a big deal for Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) about the hardware of its Nexus phone. The company is focusing more on search, ads and apps. It is trying the get more traction in the areas of its strength, rather than tapping in more areas. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is opting for an open approach for apps and software and it is well aware of the fact that Android fans around the world still prefer Samsung Galaxy devices.
