Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) reported second quarter earnings below expectations and one of the main reasons for that loss, which, according to the company will continue in the future is its investments on content. It seems Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) is truly focusing on content in all possible ways as the company announced the launch of several apps on its Fire TV, today.

Nicole Petallides reported the inclusion of several much awaited apps on Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)’s Fire TV on Fox Business.

“They [Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)are saying that the App selection has doubled. Don’t forget Flappy Bird, that’s something that’s on there, but their new services include Watch Disney, MLB, Animal Planet, ABC, Green TV, Fashion TV, Northface TV. So, what they are saying here is that they really are doubling what apps they have available on Fire TV,” Petallides said.

The Street it seems like what it heard about the addition of new apps as Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)’s stock traded up 2% throughout the day on Monday.
