Spence referred to the Cliff theory, which states that once the customer confidence is gone, there is a scarce chance that it will come back., Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) will succumb to this failure and its phone business is now doomed. Many companies like Nokia, Siemens, Philips, Ericsson were crushed because of this ruthless fact.
