As the summer-end approaches, it can only mean one thing; the release of the much awaited Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone 6 and maybe the iWatch. Apple has not made an official announcement about its impending products, but the tech world is abuzz of information on the products being released in the coming months. Apple’s partners, GT Advanced Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:GTAT), which reportedly will help producing the Saphire displays, and Skyworks Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ:SWKS) are two companies on the periphery that might greatly bank on Apple and its new products, as Street Authority stated in an article.

Skyworks, unlike GT Advanced Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:GTAT), has strong connections with other mobile industry players as a whole and would not be affected immensely should Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) pull the plug on it. Skyworks Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ:SWKS) is heavily profiting on its partnerships with  Samsung Electronics, Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK), LG, Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) as it continues to gain traction in the chip industry especially on radio frequency chips.

Sapphire glass from GT Advanced Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:GTAT) looks set to transform Apple’s products going forward as it only featured on iPhone 5’s home button and camera cover. Sapphire glass was chosen in this case as it is perceived to be nearly indestructible as well as being virtually scratchproof. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is reported to have spent up to $78 million on efforts to speed up the production of the Saphire displays from GT Advanced. Part of the money was used’ for building a production facility that is expected to further bolster output.

Sources are already pointing out to the idea that GT Advanced Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:GTAT) might be hitting supply constraints, consequently suggesting that Saphire might only be fitted’ on one side of the iPhones; there has also been speculation that the Sapphire displays might only feature on iWatch. Delays and poor quality raw materials continue to be the main points of concern for Apple at the moment. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has not officially announced the use of Sapphire displays on its upcoming smartphones, which is something that might make GTAT slide on a free fall should the former pull the plug on sapphire displays.

Skyworks Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ:SWKS) is set to benefit a great deal on the back of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s massive rollout in China, although it also relies on Lenovo and Samsung that have huge market share there. In terms of stock prices, Skyworks Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ:SWKS) has had no reversion on its share price, appreciating in the process and clearly highlighting how it does not rely on one single player in the mobile industry, unlike GT Advanced Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:GTAT). Skyworks stock is already 89% up this year with great potential for growth as the year progresses.
