Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) and International Business Machines Corp (NYSE:IBM) have announced a rattling deal according to which, both the tech giants will be launching around 100 enterprise apps & cloud services to the iPhone and iPad and a new AppleCare service specifically for enterprise customers. The products will be dubbed as IBM MobileFirst for iOS Solutions. International Business Machines Corp (NYSE:IBM) has said that it will soon selling iPads that are pre-loaded with these enterprise services. This announcement has been perceived as an effort by both tech giants to cope up with a company that has long ruled the corporate enterprise domain: Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT). Microsoft’s services and OS have a complete thread of span over the industries worldwide which will now face difficulties after the jump-in by Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) and International Business Machines Corp (NYSE:IBM).

Discussing this announcement in a program, Bloomberg’s Contributing Editor, David Kirkpatrick, and analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein, Brad Hintz said that Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) and International Business Machines Corp (NYSE:IBM) deal is really going to make a huge impact on the enterprise dynamics of the industry in the coming years.
Kirkpatrick said that Apple IBM deal is an effort by Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) to waive off Microsoft’s strong effect on the enterprise domain.

“The great thing about Apple-IBM deal is it really solves problems for both sides, you know International Business Machines Corp (NYSE:IBM) has seen this extraordinary pull from below that employees wanted to use Apple hardware and now they are gonna be able to make that possible and make it a lot more enjoyable for people to work with enterprise applications inside big companies and companies of all sizes, meanwhile, Apple has seen pull coming from employees but hasn’t really had the enterprise expertise or the global enterprise-oriented sales force to really tap into the opportunity[…],” said Kirkpatrick.

Kirkpatrick said that Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) is remarkably expanding it brand suite, from Beats acquisition to highly professional and enterprise deals, Tim Cook is making the company a highly diversified technology platform for the future. He also said that Tim Cook is best for such kind of deals as he is more pragmatic and open minded as compared to Steve jobs.
