Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) versus Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) seems to be a never ending battle in the emerging world of technology nowadays. Apple being the standardized tech giant having complete suite of Hardware and Software choices for the users remained on the top of the industry since years, but the Mountain View tech giant is roaring and quickly catching up amid the outburst of wearables, third party integrated apps and on top of all its open source mobile OS, Android. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) has more choices than Apple in different domains, primarily because of its “open for all” technology basis.
Talking to CNBC, Daniel Ives, Managing Director and Senior Analyst at FBR Capital Markets, said that time is not far away when Google will be pretty much conquering the tech industry, mainly because of its open source technologies that are giving the users a free ground to enjoy the loads of apps, software and products.
“They are really making a hard push going after Apple,” Ives added. He also thinks that Google has the core advantage with Android, which is making it more of an easy to go systems for the users worldwide. In his opinion, Google is entering multifarious domains and making technology a daily life gig for its users. From Google TV to wearables, Google is getting its place in every chamber to cope up with Apple. On the other hand, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is having more control over hardware and enjoys the edge of standardized and glamorous devices.
Ives added that investors around the world are keen to evaluate the efforts of Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) into the hardware industry to counter Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and it’s just a matter of time when Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) will be all over the place.
