BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)‘s stock has gone up by nearly 4% today, and currently trades at around $10.20. There are several news that might have spurred today’s growth, as well as the increase of the share price in the past couple of days. Yesterday, the company announced the availability of its BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 in the form of a hosted service through some third-party companies. This service allows companies to take advantage of Blackberry’s secure network and with the recent expansion, now the securing of devices is available not only on BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’s Smartphones but also on those based on Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iOS,  and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)’s Android.

In addition, a couple of days ago, BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) revealed that it has a new Chief Operating Officer, Marty Beard, who will be in charge of Marketing, Blackberry 10 Application development, and Customer Care and Quality, among other things. Prior to joining BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY), Mr. Beard was the Chairman and CEO of the LiveOps, Inc., a company engaged in cloud computing for customer service.
