“[…] Just like the general population, we asked our employees here who are Bitcoin enthusiasts and they brought the idea up at a meeting we had earlier this year, we looked into it, we thought it would be a good idea, we are all about providing choices and convenience for our customers and whether its features, and programming and making payment so we thought it would be a good idea to do,” said Han.

Han rejected the notion that DISH Network Corp (NASDAQ:DISH) is doing this just make it to the headlines. He said that DISH Network Corp (NASDAQ:DISH) has always been facilitating its tech savvy customers and the company has always been a leader in the  technology sector. Answering the question about the effect of this step on revenue and customer base, Han said that DISH Network Corp (NASDAQ:DISH) just launched its Bitcoin service and it is hard to tell anything about its popularity among DISH Network Corp (NASDAQ:DISH) customers right now.
