Lawrence Neal President at McGraw Hill Financial Inc (NYSE:MHFI) recently reported buying 5,000 shares of common stock at the company, at a price of $12.5 per share. Following this transaction Mr. Neal owned 34,395 shares. Yet, on the same report, Mr. Neal declared having sold 1,388 shares of common stock, at a price of $53 per share. Therefore, Mr. Neal currently holds, in direct form, 33,007 shares at the $22.61billion market cap financial intelligence company, amount which excludes 3,750 shares held indirectly through Skousen Family Revocable Trust. The transaction was made pursuant to Rule 16b-3.

Additionally, two important hedge funds have doubled their stake at McGraw Hill Financial Inc (NYSE:MHFI): Stephen Mandel’s Lone Pine Capital, and D. E. Shaw’s D E Shaw. Mr. Mandel’s fund currently owns almost 11 million shares, worth over $839 million, accounting for 3.64% of the fund’s Equity Portfolio. And Mr. Shaw’s hedge fund now holds more than 3 million shares, valued at more than $242 million, representing 0.34% of its Equity Portfolio.
