Insider Buying at CONN’S Inc (CONN): COO Acquires $61,300 of Shares


Last September 9th, Michael J. Poppe, Chief Operating Officer at CONN’s Inc (NASDAQ:CONN) purchased on an open market transaction through a trade ordered executed by a broker-dealer 2,000 shares of Common Stock. These were bought at an average weighted price of $30.65, for a total value of $61,300. Following the filing, Mr. Poppe directly owns 46,470 shares. This was his first transaction of the year.

In the same way, some of CONN’s Inc (NASDAQ:CONN)’s major hedge fund shareholder on record have decided to increase their exposure to the $1.10 billion markep cap holding company. On the one hand, David Einhorn’s fund, Greenlight Capital –owner of 3.5 million shares- has done so by a 7%. Other smaller hedge fund investors, like Daniel Gold’s Qvt Financial –owner of 761,995 shares- and James Dondero’s Highland Capital Management -owner of 571,047 shares- have also increased their participation in CONN’s Inc (NASDAQ:CONN) by 152% and 25% respectively.
