Spencer S. Lee, Executive Vice President at Chemed Corporation (NYSE:CHE) sold last September 10th through an open market transaction 2,000 shares of Common Stock. These were disposed at a price of $105.80 each, for a total value of $211,600. Following the filing, Mr. Lee directly owns 61,848 shares. Before this transaction, he had already sold this year the same amount of shares on three different opportunities in February, April and July.

In the same way, Chemed Corporation (NYSE:CHE)’s major hedge fund shareholders on record have decided to decrease its exposure to the $1.84 billion market cap company. Chuck Royce’s fund, Royce and Associates –owner of over 1.3 million shares- has done so by a 14%. Others, like Richard S. Pzena’s Pzena Investment Management –owner of 281,109 shares- and Joel Greenblatt’s Gotham Asset Management –owner of 201,109 shares- have decreased their participation in the firm by 20% and 32% respectively.
