Actually, Pfizer seems to have won this competition, as in the beginning of November it announced to have been able to develop a very promising vaccine. This vaccine is 90% effective in preventing COVID-19 in participants without evidence of prior SARS-CoV-2 infection in Phase 3 clinical trials. As we got to know from Insider Monkey’s research, the vaccine candidate’s Phase3 clinical trial began in July and has included 43,538 participants out of whom 38,955 had already received a second dose by November. Firstly, here’s Merck & Co.(NYSE:MRK) with its considerable amount of revenue of $47,347 million. Its involved in treatment diseases, such as HIV and Ebola, and naturally prevention is among its main targets. Secondly, Novartis (NYSE:NVS) has come up to the second spot on the compilation with its jaw-dropping revenue of $49,584 million.
