Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is trying to give a tough competition to Google Maps by introducing Streetside and 3D  view to more and more cities. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) recently announced on its Bing blog the addition of a few more cities to Streetside and 3D view, surpassing the coveted 100 mark.

Users can now see the Streetside imagery of the newly added cities on  Bing Maps and also on Bing Maps Preview app, which is available exclusively on Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s Windows 8.1. Bing Maps now also offer high resolution aerial imagery of over five million square kilometers of the Earth’s surface. The new high resolution imagery can be accessed from over 150 countries spread across all the continents in the world.  New cities added to 3D view include Denver, Fremont, Orlando, Raleigh, Tulsa and others in the U.S. ; Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria and Edmonton in Canada; and Copenhagen in Denmark.
