Following this move, Lassiter now holds 44,728 shares directly in the company. National HealthCare Corporation (NYSE:NHC), is a $801.7 million market cap company that is engaged in the operation of long-term health care centers with associated assisted living and independent living centers. In addition, it provides management services, accounting and financial services and insurance services to third party owners of health care facilities.
While there is not much outside involvement in the company, Billionaire Jim Simon‘s hedge fund, Renaissance Technologies, lowered its activity by 1% last quarter, and now holds 239,000 shares worth about $13.4 million.
