National HealthCare Corporation (NHC) Insider Lowers Profile With The Company By 2,000 Shares

National HealthCare Corporation (NYSE:NHC), saw a high level insider alter his holdings with the company through a transaction that began last week and was officially filed today, August 25th. Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, David L. Lassiter, disposed of 2,000 shares of common stock at an average price of $57.1 per share. Following this move, Lassiter now holds 44,728 shares directly in the company. National HealthCare Corporation (NYSE:NHC), is a $801.7 million market cap company that is engaged in the operation of long-term health care centers with associated assisted living and independent living centers. In addition, it provides management services, accounting and financial services and insurance services to third party owners of health care facilities.
While there is not much outside involvement in the company, Billionaire Jim Simon‘s hedge fund, Renaissance Technologies, lowered its activity by 1% last quarter, and now holds 239,000 shares worth about $13.4 million.
