Google plus is an interest-based social network, but have you ever thought about what are the biggest communities on Google Plus? In 2011 Google+ reached 10 million users just two weeks after the launch. Many of the more than 135 million monthly active Google+ users may have already explored Communities. Unlike other social media services which have their niches, Google+ was seen as a direct competitor to Facebook. It is very difficult to compete against Facebook. Facebook is very strong competitor. It has more than 1.86 billion monthly active users. Google+ is also a huge social network, with 500 million registered users, but, according to statistics and numbers of members, its users are not very vocal, only accounting to 2% social sharing when compared with other social networks. Google plus has recently launched a new photo app that allows people to share pictures without the need for a Google+ account.
