Everybody loves to sing, but have you ever thought about what are the most popular karaoke songs of all time? Today’s list is about Karaoke Songs, and that is even harder to do, as that’s not something often seen on TV, but more in private.

Karaoke is a form of interactive entertainment or video game in which an amateur singer sings along with recorded music using a microphone. One of the most popular is the song “Don’t Stop Believin’ ” by Journey. Originally performed by Journey in 1981, it was covered by “Glee” whose cover even got the song into higher rankings on many Billboard charts. Another one is the famous song “The Gambler” – Kenny Rogers. We all learned its lyrics and picked it up during our childhood, and grew up with it while singing it in school, the choir or with our families. The global karaoke market has been estimated to be worth nearly $10 billion. The concept of creating studio recordings that lack the lead vocal has been around for almost as long as recording itself. Many artists, amateur and professional, perform in situations where a full band is either logistically or financially impractical, so they use a “karaoke” recording; they are, however, the original artists. Since 2003, much software has been released for hosting karaoke shows and playing karaoke songs on a personal computer. In Asia, a karaoke box is the most popular type of karaoke venue. A karaoke box is a small or medium-sized room containing karaoke equipment rented by the hour or half-hour, providing a more intimate atmosphere. Did you know one interesting fact that Robbie Williams holds the record for the largest number of people singing karaoke at one time, for over 120,000 people singing “Strong” live at Knebworth 2003? Hungary holds the record for the longest Karaoke marathon with multiple participants for an event organized at the Honey Grill Restaurant. It lasted for 1011 hours, 1 minute.
