During the past century, people’s diet habits have changed from natural, home-made food to fast-food, where McDonald’s took a lead by itself. That lead to a global overweighting and later on, to many new diseases. Nowadays, obesity is one of the most frequent causes of death in the World. And do you know which country is the fattest?

People may say that the fattest people come from the countries with higher incomes, but they would be wrong. In my personal opinion, obesity doesn’t have anything to do with the country’s standard of living, but with the increase of junk food, people are consuming as well as the exercises they do or don’t to. Of course, United States of America is on the list of 11 fattest countries in the world, but if we would split it into states, how many states would be there on the list?

Let’s look at the whole picture. If you would eat fast food, let’s say, 3 times a week, and have a regular and healthy meal other 4 days, how many calories would you gain approximately? If you finished counting, now try to count the lost of the calories by just walking about 10 miles per a day. What’s the result? But what if you would just gain weight without any movements, besides walking towards your car once a day. And now we came to the cause of the problem. Junk food+driving in most cases. And how many people walk nowadays? Besides walking, you could take this losing weight thing up to the next level by jogging or even joining the gym. Why not?

If you are still not convinced that you should maybe lose more weight, think about the statement from the beginning: ’’ Nowadays, obesity is one of the most frequent causes of death in the World’’. The disease that is most commonly associated with the overweight is diabetes and we all know what that means.

This topic is not for entertainment. This is a global problem that needs to be fixed immediately as the consequences are too dark to talk about.
