We have all watched’’Hannibal Lecktor’’ the movie that shows a young boy being made by a man to eat his own little sister and later on became addicted to it. I saw it when I was younger which is why I can’t remember all the details, but the scene that has stuck to my memory was the one in which the men takes the little girl’s hand and leads her towards the door while her big brother watches her going through the light all covered in dirt. I was too young to understand that this wasn’t just a made-up story, which is why I tried to completely delete it from my memory. But a few years later, more and more stories about Cannibalism were told by different people, more and more shows about Cannibalism were shown which made me realize that killing wasn’t the worst thing in the world, as I thought before.

Those people claim that the people’s meat tastes the same as the meat we eat every day and that their desire for it is so strong, that sometimes they can’t resist the urge. On the other hand, there are many stories of people who eat their friends or co-workers when being lost for a couple of days or even months in mountains or desert islands after plain crashes. They said that it was against their will, but they had to do it in order to survive. Most interesting things about Cannibalism are the stories of some convicted. One man also said that, before killing a person, he asked how the person wanted to be prepared because he believed that he would insult him if he prepared it in a wrong way.

And now, let’s take a look at the facts that make someone serial killer. What do you think, how many people should someone kill in order to be labeled as a serial killer? Someone would say 4 or more, but according to FBI, killing two people is enough to be seen as a serial killer.

So, do you know who are American Cannibal serial killers? Look at the Insider Monkey’s list of 10 American Cannibal serial killers and their stories and after that, look around you. The world should not be seen through the ’’pink goggles’’ as you may think. Maybe your first neighbor who you grew up with is the one you should pay attention to.
