As you may notice, Canada became the dream country for immigrants in the last couple more years. And where do these Canadian immigrants come from?

As Canada offers many benefits to its citizens and it is very open-minded, it quickly became filled with people of all nationality and color. In fact, not only that it is the multinational country, but also respects the LGBT community and allows same-sex marriage and the adoption in this manner.

Another reason for the increase of the immigration in Canada is the easy access to the papers for foreigners. You can move there if you got some job in the country, have the relatives who want to secure you, or just simply be selected by some specific region by your application, which is the most common for business people or students.

Although the taxes are higher than in some other countries, you will be happy to know that all of that extra money you give on taxes are going to the budget of the free healthcare. If you look it like this, it doesn’t really sound free since you are giving a certain amount of money. But you should know that in every country, the health is expensive like in the Canada, but unlike those countries, Canada gives access to the healthcare even to the homeless people who don’t have any incomes at all.

And while the US citizens usually mocked Canada, with the arrival of the new president of America, Donald Trump, there is a big increase in Canadian and decrease in the US population expected.

If you don’t believe in words, but act, let’s take a look at the numbers.  In the year of 2011, there were 20,6% of the foreign-born people in the Canada. Unfortunately, the year of 2011 is the last provided data in this area. On the other hand, if you take a look at the growth of the population in only one year, you would be clearer about our point. While there were 271,660 immigrants in 2015, this number was surprisingly increased in 2016 to over 300,000. As the numbers don’t lie, you can be sure that there is a good reason for it. Although the paperwork and the whole process of becoming the resident of the Canada are not that short, it is obviously worth waiting and these 10 countries that send the most immigrants to Canada are the real proof of this statement.
